Looking forward owning a new bike!:D

I miss biking a LOT! and I asked my brother (when he visited Manila over the weekend) for a price range of good bikes. Then he told me that he can assemble good one for me. He's planning to assemble bike using alloy, disc brakes and many more...Only I need to save for it..hmmmnnn..

For the past days, I have been thinking of having exercise again. Walking, jogging, going to the gym etc. etc. I felt pinch of pain in my chest when I laugh hard or run. I need to watch my health as I watch my social, work and spiritual life...^_^

Hopefully soon I'll be back to the track. I miss my college life having do some running, jogs, archery, volleyball, lawn tennis, hiking and weight lifting. Need to get my body back into shape. Looking forward to that.

Future plans starts with a dream

Planning is just the tip of the iceberg, bulk of it will depend on how you plan and do for it. Dreams play a big role, for without it, you can never see the future.

THAT, I assure you is clear in my mind.

They say never get tired of dreaming because it keeps the fire burning and it keeps you going but be sure also that whatever happens you can handle yourself emotionally.

I have many dreams, and as I grow 'older', more dreams comes in mind, some of my childhood dreams were retained and some were just thrown out of my mind but I never forget the reasons why I had once dreamt of that.

Many people who have talked to me said that they see me as one of the future politician in our town. This has always caught me off-guard for I know I have no plans of running in the future. But as time passed by, it seemed like it had always been my calling.

One thing is for sure, when the right time comes, I will not ponder more on the idea of serving the people.

What would Ninoy Aquino and Lean Alejandro do?

Three days ago Ninoy Aquino's assassination was remembered and in 26 days Lean Alejandro's death will be remembered.

They were the icons for Nationalistic ideologies and Democratic Struggle. Even at their young age, they served the Filipino people with utmost commitment to fight against Martial Law. Two decades had passed and many great political leaders had died in the line of fire, in the struggle to achieve a better future for our dear country, yet we are faced again with this kind of struggle.

The things that Ninoy and Lean had fought for had never been destroyed and were just stunted for the past years. Ninoy and Lean had hoped for a better governance and sided with the Filipino people in the times of threats. They had never been afraid to fight for what they believe which is good for the great number of Filipino people.

These kinds of people are what we need today. They are the epitome of how youth should think and act. A youth can always make a change. We the youth can always make a difference. In the times were most of the people felt like giving up, we the Youth should rise and speak our minds. To let our fellow people know that this is the time that we must unite for one goal.

If Ninoy Aquino and Lean Alejandro are alive I know they will call for the people to wake up. Speak and never be apathetic with our present political situation. They had become my idol and I will do my best to make them proud of today’s youth. Make them feel that their lives are not wasted but had been an inspiration to the people in guarding the values of the youth and the true nature of democracy.

I was sickened by the things how politics and politicians do today. Sure there were a few who fight for the great number of people. There are those who fight for the true meaning of being a Filipino and politics.

Le Cirque dinner is just a tip of the iceberg; corruption is a deep rooted problem that we should address. We must act as the guards against enormous stealing and rape in our country done by those in power. I call on the youth to know more and be aware of the true situation of our country. I can never lose hope with Philippines for I know; this is the only country I will call HOME.

Together with my fellow members of Kabataan Kontra Kahirapan (KKK) or Youth Against Poverty, were having a campaign in Facebook called “Be a Lean Campaign”. To learn more about our youth organization you can visit http://www.kabataankontrakahirapan.org and you can be the youth that this country need. YOUth take the Lead!

clearer view towards 26th year of my existence

Most of the time I am in charge of my life but anchored on GOD, of course...hehehe! As I think about what I want and what I am going to do in a year or so, one thing is really for sure. I am going to live in the province for good by the age of 26 or earlier as planned.

I want to manage the business of the family which they had always been telling me. Will continue my own business and will start some feasibility studies too for any partnerships and sole proprietorship.

Willing to learn and always aiming for good life, I know I have people behind my back to push and support me in my steps. I had always dreamed of having a simple life with my own family in the province. Raising my children the simplest way possible, but knowledgeable enough to face life as it is. Having a heads-on approach and knows how to respond by the right attitude.

A farm and travel that the family can enjoy once in a while. Many would react how owning a farm and having travel/vacation can equate to having a simple life. But then I would ask you, what is life without a diversion? Work with no play will lead to unproductive self.

I am telling you because I know. Right now I had difficulty doing the tasks that I need to accomplish primarily because I am drained. Managing people and things cannot be that easy. Working can get your whole being and if you do not know yourself fully, you might be a grumpy person. Be one with yourself and know what it needs to refuel your soul so that you'll be productive enough.

I tend to divert and do things aside from my mon-sat work so that I can grow. I hope you can do it too. I hope every time I walk, I can see people who are happy. I needed people with good aura. It lifts me...^_^

Good thing, I have set of friends who never fails to give me a good laugh. People who shares their life with me, who once in a while asks my company to just talk. Family who calls me once in while. They don't call me often and I am busy most of the time. Doesn't have the time to exchange text messages too..^_^

Hopefully, when things go my way, I can still count on them and them on me. Hopefully I can still be that person who they needed to talk with. If things go my way, I see more time with them and I will be the happiest creature God had created. I am aiming my 26th year of existence to mark my new beginning as a person. A bigger task to take.

A mark of new path to take, what path? in due time I will say/write about it. Not now. I am still weighing things. A path that needs God's utmost assistance..:)

A sensible talk is a good therapy for me...;)

A busy monday-saturday is not new to me. I am that, busy day keeps me going but I am conscious of looking forward a good/happy day. For consecutive nights I am learning new things again or must say it's just re-affirmation of my beliefs as an individual but having group of people with same wavelength as yours is different, it is therapeutic. Somehow it gives fire for your inner being.

Last night I had a long talk with friends Direk Coco and Marrah. Before the talk we're group whom enjoyed drinking, talking with each other, taking pictures(will post picture later) and ate starting around 12noon. But they decided to go home earlier because it is Sunday, and need to work on Monday. My housemates were the only ones left and Marrah, Direk said he'll come from his series of meeting, so we waited for him.

Until came 2am, 3 of us were left, just talking about anything. We enjoyed it a lot that we haven't noticed the passing of time. It's overwhelming, especially that I missed doing that for a long time now. LOVE IT!!^_^

If only I don't have work at 10 am and needed to get ready by 9am maybe we just continued to talk with each other. Hahahahahaha!:)

My Second MB Picture Perfect Published Photo

My 2nd Manila Bulletin Picture Perfect contribution got published today August 4, 2009 in Through a Lens, Clearly! section "A special request". I took this shot at Balut, Tondo last July 18, 2009 after the 2nd Annual Scott Kelby's Worldwide Photowalk using my Canon 1000d. Entitled 'Connecting Metals' cross-processed in Photoshop CS3...^_^

To quote the article along with my contribution from Manila Bulletin:

Charity Sicad (http://stariuschat.multiply.com) shares her experience from the photo walk. "Meeting many people who are hooked into photography filled me with joy", she writes. "I gained new friends, too! Photography became the Valium of my busy life."

Unfortunately my SDHC gave up so I can't take a photo of the newspaper for documentation. So I'd just share the photo that was published.

Tonton Massage Experience

Got a busy day after my tonton massage. So how was it?

Hmmmnnnn...I felt good after the massage. I love it!:)

I am convinced that I must at least treat myself once a month of tonton massage. Also they have a promo at a certain time, hehe! I will try to sneak out of office for my break time just to go to Tonton.

Tonton massage or known as the Thai massage was said to be the "Lazy Man's Yoga". It is a Wat Po Thai traditional massage in which gives a "Feng Shui" effect to the body.

Thai Massage is a treatment that balances the chi(energy) of the body in much same way that a Feng Shui adjusts and balances the chi of an environment.

If you are familiar of the acupressure I think they are the same or if not, almost the same. Pressing the points along the meridians in which the energy travels can relieve mascular tension, promotes better circulation and helps to balance vital energy of the body.

It is believed to give the body calmness, balance and revitalization. It also prevents and helps in managing wide variety of physical and mental ailments.

In my first experience of this tonton(thai) massage, I felt all my body pains was gone. I was revitalized. This at first hurt a bit but I much wanted that kind of massage. Hard massage is what I wanted from the beginning. But after that 1-hour session I have not felt the pressure/pain anymore but rather I was calm and ready to hit my bed and have a good night's sleep.

I will look forward more tonton massage session! Since I cannot go on a good vacation to any beach, I will just pamper myself in this massage parlor. Walk around the malls, join my photog friends anywhere around Manila area for my body fitness. Meet with college friends. Exercise, recreation and appreciating life is a great thing to do!

Out of all the works, there should always be a time for yourself and reflect on the things that you do, always be a happy person and leave the thoughts that just gives you 'problems'. Sometimes, you were just too busy that you forgot to say Thank You!...^_^

BE A BUSY BEE BUT ALWAYS A HAPPY BEE!!...wahehehehehe...:D

Philippine Democracy Icon Died but spirit will live on

August 1 3:18am Former President Cory Aquino died.

She died but will always remain in our hearts. I cannot imagine life without democracy. I for one is not a fan of authoritarian rule. I can follow rules of course but I am not at ease following them. In due time, I will begin to ask what are these rules for?

She had been a state's woman, heard when she talks, an empowered woman indeed. I liked how she talks, she speaks with dignity. She had undergone so many hardships and yet, she hold on to God.

Maybe a part of me wanted to be her. A loving mother and daughter, a supportive sister, a leader.

She is an icon, simple, dignified and will always remain the beacon of Philippine democracy.

As my part I changed my fb profile picture to yellow ribbon. I wept and as I wept for her passing, part of me had seen the path of which I had to support and walk on. Until the end it is DEMOCRACY!

August 5, Wednesday is a holiday for her funeral. I dunno if we can go to her funeral if not I will just watch the monitoring here at the office or at the house if we don't have office, which I doubt...lol:))
